I am soon about to be a career-changer, from bench scientist to scientific project manager in a private company. It was not an easy decision but I believe I have much more to win than to lose. At the same time I did not want to waste all knowledge I have acquired before I felt I had to make a change in order to explore skills I know I have and that can push me even further. I did not read this article before but I was glad to realize I have followed every recommended step. Now that I got the opportunity I wanted it is also up to me to make it work.
