Baptist Memorial opened it’s door in 2001, and has been flooded with patients ever since. This state-of-the-art, stand-alone hospital offers labor and delivery services, gynecological surgery, a newborn intensive care unit, and a Comprehensive Breast Center. It is the regional referral hospital for high-risk pregnancies, mammography diagnostics, and urogynecology.

Baptist has 140 beds, a 24-hr a day maternity ambulance service, 800 physicians and 330 clinical professors. It also features a free e-newsletter and an online cost estimator. Baptist Memorial was the 2008 winner of the American Hospital Association Quest for Quality Prize.
