Pls give me any advice on which areas i can find RN job since im a bit desperate for hiring in my place in california,even nursing home or skilled nursing facility..doesnt hire me because they always look for currently USA experience. Why is like that? Why newly immigrant with california RN license who had years of experience as a nurse from big hospitals with JACHO standard from other foreign country whose standard equits with american hospitals never get any consideration for hiring? Why they always seek USA experience? Whats the best thing to do since i cannot move further to other state because all my family is here in CALIFORNIA. Whats the best thing i can do to launced an RN job.

Hi Im a license california RN, newly immigrant here in Cali, i have a 8 years experience as a registered nurse outside USA yet they never consider my experience and this time i have a hard time finding a job since they always ask for my california or USA experience when in faCT IM JUST NEW in here...How can i find a RN job when they always seek usa experience especially for new immigrants, i thought there is an equal oppurtunity for work to everyone. im a bit dis appointed why health care industries here in california is like that.

Hello, i am a Registered Practical Nurse(RPN/LPN) living and practicing in Toronto, Canada. I am willing to relocate to Florida, preferly in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale or any of those cities on the southside of Florida, westside is not bad either. Anyways, i need some help on how to get started, what should i do first, would an agency be the best way out or is there hospitals that are will to help you relocate??.....Please if anyone can give me some advise, this will be greatly appreciated. im in dallas tx, im a certified pharmacy technician why is it so hard to get a job in a hospital. If you dont have a 1yr of experiance allready. my question is if not given the chance will never get hired in a hospital. do you know any hospitals in this area that will give me that chance.

I didn't believe that Michigan would have made the above list. I live in Michigan, but don't plan to stay here. I am going back to school next spring for a Computer Medical Specialist program and want to relocate right after graduating. Does anyone know anything about maybe Wisconsin or Missouri being maybe another top state to work in the healthcare field?
