Find Out What Keeps the Boss Up at Night
Do your homework so you understand not only the job or promotion for which you are applying, but also the job of the senior executive above it. Do you know to whom this person reports, and what the top issues are for your boss’s boss?
TIP: Make that knowledge part of your interview conversation. Show an interest not only in the specifics of the job, but in the product and markets for that company. Ask broad questions: “What do you think the potential growth in the Indian market is?”

I am a Medical Billing Student who graduates soon. I had a phone interview and was unexpectedly asked all of these thought process questions. The interview had to have been humorous. I wish i had went on this site before hand. I lost a huge opportunity, which i hope i can redeem myself with the same hospital. I do not have the healthcare experience, except through school. I want to get started, do i have a chance without experience? How am i supposed to get experienced if no one wants to take on someone fresh out of college?
