I agree, a cna can find work anywhere. not many people want to get that close to a patient, and don't want to do the hard work.. it's a good foot in the door on becoming a nurse.. i went to school in UMA for MCLA, I graduated in Oct of 08 and haven't found a job yet. my school quotes tried to place me and couldn't find anything.. I feel like iv'e wasted my 12.000 dollars on a school that didn't help... it's bull shit.. get your cna, then become a nurse, you'll never have trouble finding a job. nurses are always in demand, ever go to the er and wait for eternity? it's because there is such a big shortage on nurses they'll give you a chance... from there it's up to you. good luck everyone with your job search.

the healthcare field is tough to find a job right now. it's becoming over crunched, the field that isn't that crunched is law enforcement and security, same for other job titles... nurses are the only ones who realy never have trouble finding jobs.. everyone else, good luck... cause you're going to need it, these skum bag companies never want to give anyone new a chance. and it sickens me.. how do you learn? if nobody wants to teach you?
