Dental Hygienists
Oral health has never been more important. This year, new research confirmed the link between oral hygiene and cardiovascular health, and a number of new products came out, touting their ability to provide life-long healthy teeth. Because of this, the dental industry is thriving.

Projected Need: 82,000
Projected Growth: 27+%
Median Wage: $31/hr
Many new, young doctors are hiring dental hygienists like never before. And, as older dentists retire, the demand for dental hygienists will grow. Because many hygienists work for private practices, they have the ability to hold flexible schedules or work part-time. Dentists frequently hire hygienists to work only 2 or 3 days a week, so hygienists may hold jobs in more than one dental office. More than half of all dental hygienists worked part time—less than 35 hours a week.
Employment of dental hygienists is expected to grow much faster than average, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Hello, my name is Vanessa Hill. i have recently relocated to KY from WA state where I worked as an RHIT/coder/biller. The CPC certification is more accepted than the RHIT here in this state. i have been searching for work, but it has been hard. I love the billing/analyzing/revenue part of the job that I did in WA. But the problem I have been having is these jobs call for BA in nursing, accounting or finance in analysing or revenue cycle. Any suggestions?

Dear Sirs/Madams,
I have a Bachelore degree as hygienist-epidemiologist and Master degree in Public Health. Now I am working as project Coordinator in Tajikistan. But I would like to find a job in US, because I like USA. The high salary is not interested me. I like administrative and managerial work. I have one dependant - my 2,5 years old son. my husband is studying in US.
If there is something appropiate, please contact me: E-mail: nasrulloeva@yahoo.com
Thanks, Moh

I would love to have more information about this field in the healthcare industry. I already have my degree in Medical Billing & Coding, am currently working on my degree in Medical Office Administration and plan on getting my Bachelor's in Medical IT.
