Six Answers Interviewers Need to Hire You
Peter Vogt, MonsterTRAK Career Coach
During the typical health care job interview, you’ll be asked a lot of questions. But do you really understand what the interviewer needs to know?
“Most students have no idea why a recruiter asks a particular question,” says Brad Karsh, a former recruiting professional for advertising giant Leo Burnett and current president of career consulting firm Job Bound. “They tend to think it’s a competition to outwit the interviewer.”
The reality is that employers have neither the time nor inclination to play games with you, especially when hiring. Your interviewer is not trying to outguess you — he’s trying to assess your answers to six key questions.

There is only one position I would rather have. I would like to be President O'bama's personal consultant on how to make healthcare delivery more efficient.

My resume shows 27 years of Heal care and accounting experience. I would like to highlight some achievements whose outcome was positive. I merged thee hospital systems. I was selected to develop the Financial Statements and install the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts and Accounting. I also developed a method of analyzing Accounts Receivable, using a combination of my computer and accounting experience. We were able to develop collectability percentages on all payers quickly and accurately. I believe similar methods were developed by Ernst & Young several years later. If you would like I can go into the technical details of how I did that. We also had a 250 million bond issuance that I was instrumental in developing the prospective. I developed a Model with the Executive Financial Director that I presented to the Board of Directors, Finance Committee. Would you like additional examples of my accomplishments?.

I have reviewed the Job Summary that you gave me and I have experience with [Asset Management], [Internal Control, and [Writing Procedures]. Many of the other's, e.g., derivatives; I understand but I would study the subject more thorouly until I become comfortable that I have the knowlede to do a good job., I believe the learning curve will be two months on the Derivatives.

The company's mission (that I read on the internet) says that your organization wants to be a leader in healthcare by a combination of caring on the part of the nurses and doctors, and fiscal responsibility by financial administration. This is difficult but doable. I believe I can set up reports and procedures that would make it easier for the people who work with our patients so that they can spend less time piecing together financial information and, therefore, have more time for patient care. I have spent the last five years developing automated procedures using, Data Mining, Excel and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications. I will give you several examples if you like.

II have reviewed your job summary and have hands-on experience with [mergers], computer installations and writing cash procedures. I have not worked with [derivatives but I understand them and with some study I'm certain I will understand them and work them into our investment portfolio.

The key point is that u must look into the eyes of the interviewer and then answer all his questions. This will give him an impression that the guy knows his job and is confident!!

Its very stressful these days going for interviews. Its also also not feasible that you will be hired even if you answer their question. Experience is what they should look into first.
We that are out of a job and has worked all their life for one career in my opinion needs a chance.
Company"s make interviewing hard and ask some really dome question as far as I am concern. You know I suggest when needing a job you answer the question the best you can and just wait and see what happen.
