Interested in a career in healthcare, but don’t know what you want to do yet? Check out a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. This degree encompasses courses that are relevant to almost all healthcare careers including physical and life sciences, medical ethics, and basic patient care. A BS in Health Sciences is awarded after a minimum number of academics units are completed. This typically takes four years as a full-time student. Part-time and online programs allow of flexibility and can increase or decrease the amount of time it takes to finish the degree.

A BS in Health Sciences opens up many doors. With a BS in Health Sciences you can pursue a variety of careers including dental hygiene, paramedics, and respiratory therapy. This degree can also be a stepping stone toward graduate or medical school.

Many Health Sciences programs offer two different tracks: The pre-professional track and the clinical manager track. The pre-professional track is designed for students who wish to further their studies with a master’s level health professions program such as health administration, physical therapy, or health informatics. The clinical manage track is for students who are already healthcare professionals or hold an associate or technical degree.

The variety in coursework and career choices offered by the BS in Health Sciences means that you can go any direction after completing your degree. A BS in Health Sciences gives you the freedom to pursue your dreams.

    i am having hard time choosing a career go back for that doesnt require 4 years. I am a medical assistant ; currenlty i love the people part of the job, i just dont think i could do everything nurses do and i am too emotional so i took the quiz and it helped cause i was considering HIMT and ocupational therapy assistant. So both are on my results. :) pretty cool quiz i enjoyed it

    The bachelor of science in health science is a good way to start if you are passionate about a heath care career. It already opens a lot of doors as soon as you achieve it but it can also direct you toward a specific career path like general medicine or surgery.
