| Posted 8 months ago Most, if not all, skilled nursing/long-term care companies have Administrator-in-training (AIT) programs. They will hire you, assign you to a seasoned Administrator in one of their larger facilities, usually at a median salary ($30K-40K). Once you complete the program you will be given an assigned facility within the company. Accepting this type of position, usually means that you have to go whereever they assign you, but if you want to break into healthcare management this is one way of doing it. Let me know if you have any questions or need more information. |
