Hi !  I am Marie from Florida - but my work is in Indiana !     I am a coder/biller and ...... more    and     I love it !

I am constantly learning new things - which is why I need mentors around me - I am still studying for my certification and feel like I could do it - but still a bit too nervous that I might not be ready ... so I'll wait a little longer !

I work alone ; having someone to lean over and say "what do you think on this one ??? " would be great !!!

I can lean over and type : to you and ask "what do YOU think:? !! "

Join in ...I would love to meet you and all the others that will be here

HI my name is Lyle. I'm from Detroit. I'm currently in school to become a certified medical biller at Everest Insitute. I hope to meet new people on here and make connections.  I just recently found Allhealthcare.com and am excited to see that something like this exists. I hope to hear from other people on here and see what kind of feedback I will get and can give.  I am excited to start my career in the Health Care industry.

Hello! My name is Janyne. I am a single mother of 4 wonderful children. I have worked in medical offices in the past doing front desk and coding. I just recently completed my diploma program for medical billing and coding.  I am in the process of preparing to take my certification test.  I am looking for an at home medical coding job.  I have a special needs daughter that I need to stay at home with, and need to provide for my children at the same time.  Does anyone know of any legitimate websites for medical coding jobs at home?

Hi my name is Verla and I'm currently in school to become a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist! I'm almost done with my program and am very excited to start my new career. I'm currently taking coding and loving all the detective work to find the right codes. I wanted to join this group to meet other billers and learn from all of you.

Hello,

I am Angelle, I am a soon-to-be graduate from the Medical Administration program. This program has given me the option to tailor my way through the administration areas such as billing and coding, transcription, assistant, etc. Hopefully this will be a breeze to get an entry-level position at a clinic or a hospital. I will be looking for a job after my degree and any help in finding different contacts for that would be great. I hope that since the recession has ended that employers will think hey this one will be a good entry-level starter lol. I may find my specific position and want to get a higher degree down the road. I am not in a clinic or hospital yet but would love to. I've tried online applications but no luck thus far.

I feel that as a starter I could swing into the receptionist at a clinic or hospital to start out. Since I have a very good spelling and grammar, fast typer, that I could get into transcription also. After my coding courses for this last quarter, I have picked up on it very strongly than I did when I had the coding I, II, ambulatory, etc. when it was a challenge and has come easier that this could also be the direction I could head into in the health care field. But WHO KNOWS? lol. I will get there. It will be a challenge. It isn't going to be easy. I will still study my butt off on these books that I have after I graduate so I can be just as good as everybody else. I know I can do it as much as you.

I recently found this site too and hope that more health care nuts will join to make a stronger connection not only in Minnesota but worldwide too. This would be a great site for people to ask questions and get an actual answer.

Add me as a friend and we can communicate on a professional level and if wanted humor level too. I may not get back right away but eventually will, since there are so many other websites that you can be a part of and stuff...... you know.
